Monster  Calves

Here we go. I know for a fact that most of you have seen the guy in the gym with the huge upper body only to see those chicken stick calves that aren't there. These muscles are one if not the hardest sections to develop. Unless you are blessed with genetically good calves most are not. Even then, lots of people could use better overall shape to them. Nothin' says it better than a great set of calves to round out a miniskirt, shorts, dress, whatever!

Calves come in all sorts of insertion points, but the most you can do is to develop them to their max potential. Some trainers have short calves where they ball up right behind the knee, some have long calves which seem to go down into the ankle. Whatever your genetics, blast 'em hard with proper weight, focus and drive...something's bound to poke out! Patience, this stuff cramps like crazy and we all know it!

Seated Calf Raise-
4 sets til failure, increasing weight each set
 
Leg Press Calf Raises-
3 Strip sets til failure...dropping weight each set
 
Standing Calf Raise-
2 sets til failure...increasing weight each set
 
Now that wasn't so hard! Rub those bad boys and hopefully you don't try and
run up/down some stairs for a bit!
