New Year, New focus!

It’s the start to the season and hopefully everyone had a great holiday season and made it back safe and sound with all parts and appendages where they were when you left!

Well, it’s time once again to ramp up the new season with the first show of the year and after that…well who knows. I know for myself, things have been in a mental prep stage for this year. I know what I need to do and I know things are going to be a little more focused on what can I do this year from last year. The drive for this will be my first ever top 10 placing at the Olympia. From a poor showing the first of the year to a year ending finale that had to be one of the better conditions I have achieved. Taking one day at a time now to revamp and tweak something that was not broke is all I am going to do from now on. I took a bigger is better approach and it was bigger, just not better.

There’s a new drive and vision for the Ironman and Arnold Classic this year. Not only is it the forth time for both of them, I have had some great support the whole way. One of the greatest fans and number one supporter is my wife. As a team, we rock! The ProTan crew will be in full effect and all over the place this year. And Nicki (my awesome wife) and Carla’s (her awesome friend) dynamic duo personalities will ensure that the shows they appear at are professionally run backstage with respect to competitor prep for on stage.

All in all, I have made some new resolutions and doing my best to not shoot myself in the foot…so to speak with keeping them. No big talk, just intentions on being one of the best in the world. Thanks for all the support and remember to tell those close to you that you love them and keep the lines of communication open. You never know how much time you have with someone until its too late.

 So, what’s on the scope for DH this year? I have a few spots I want to hit and those include:

Ironman Pro- 12th (Really NOT good)

Arnold Classic- 12th (Better, but still not DH)

New York Pro- May 10, 2nd/4th

Tampa Pro- August 9

Mr. O?- Sep 25-28
